Adam Kadmon

Adam was not the first man
‘Though the Bible tells us soEden

There was one created before him
Whose name we do not knowNara

He also lived in the garden
But he had no mouth or eyesAdam-3 2

One day Adam came to kill himAdam-4 3

You don’t need any human to validate you.
Human worth is free and plentiful.
An inherent state of nature.
Independent of talent or skill.
Abundant to the poorest beggar.
Liberal to the lamest leper.
Accessible in the deepest “sinner.”

It’s merely kept shrouded in our ignorance.
Encapsulated in our guilt.
Genetically sacrificed to increase our chances for survival.
Buried deep within our psyche.
Completely tossed out by demon-pathologies.

But re-awakened by the biological martyrs.
Freed from its fetters by the sages and saints.
Strewn across the Earth, ameliorating our trials and tribulations.
Growing furtive like the tree of Nirvana.
To feed our soul-starved existences –

-Raymond Li

Keep Crying Orwell; Shakespeare is Overrated.

Here’s why:

On Shakespeare

And to be honest I would not be surprised if the original works of Shakespeare had been heavily edited by a few friends who made it seem like Shakespeare was that polished all on his own.  I’m not adamant on this notion; I’m just saying I would not be surprised.

There Is Another Sky!

There is another sky,
Ever serene and fair,
And there is another sunshine,
Though it be darkness there;
Never mind faded forests, Austin,
Never mind silent fields—
Here is a little forest,
Whose leaf is ever green;
Here is a brighter garden,
Where not a frost has been;
In its unfading flowers
I hear the bright bee hum:
Prithee, my brother,
Into my garden come!

-Emily Dickinson
